European State of the B2B Platform Economy 2024

In deep collaboration with Cooperative State University of Baden Würtemberg (DHBW) we conducted this study as an update of our previous research from 2020. 

Our motivation for this extensive study stems from a commitment to dispel myths and bring clarity to the dynamic sector of B2B platforms

Contrary to widespread belief, our preliminary findings suggest that Europe may not only be competitive but also exhibit unique strengths in the B2B platform arena. Through this report, we endeavor to provide a granular analysis that stakeholders—ranging from entrepreneurs to policymakers—can rely upon to make informed decisions and craft strategic initiatives.

The 2024 report is structured into three substantive sections, each designed to address the most pertinent aspects of the B2B platform economy in Europe:
